riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Feb 7, 2008 Brown with a thin head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, and nuts. The flavor is the same with a moderate roast accompanying the chocolate, toffee and nuts. Pretty mild, but very clean and sessionable. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA Aug 18, 2006 On tap poured a clear reddish color with a small off white head. The aroma was mostly of carmel malt and a slight toasted biscuit. Taste was clean malt with a nice hop balance. A good clean example of a brown ale. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA Aug 31, 2005 Clear reddish brown appearance. Malty, nutty aroma. Dryish chocolate malt flavor, hazelnut, fairly dry in the finish. A lighter session brown ale, closer to the English style. PuckLSHS (101), USA Apr 15, 2005 Not a very good brown in my opinion. The beer was malty and had a medium brown body with an okay head. This is one of the beers that is in their regular line-up, so it is nothing special. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jan 13, 2005 (Draft) Pours a medium brown body with a descent off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts. Flavor of roasted malt and nuts. MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 30, 2004 Clear brown brew with a light/medium body. Nice roasty nose. A nice kick of fruit at the finish. JohnC (2230), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jan 24, 2004 Clear brown brew with a light/medium body. Nice roasty nose, flavor was a bit thinner than I expected, but all in all a decent brown. herbjones (742), Orange, California, USA Nov 9, 2002 Clear brown pour revealing a very nice roasted malt nose. I felt the flavor didnt live up to the nose though. Confusing hop bite at the end that just threw things off.
