Commercial Description:
Not for the hopophobic! This medium-bodied, slightly fruity golden ale was inspired by West Coast hop-heads. Big floral nose with plenty of hoppy dryness on the finish.

On tap poured a clear golden color with a good lasting white head. Aroma was mostly citrus hops with a hint of malt sweetness. Taste had a brilliant hop presents with a good balance and small alcohol notes. Overall a great pale ale but not much of a blonde.

Gold color with medium sized off-white head. Mellow dry hop aroma. This had a beqautiful hop taste that wasn't too bitter at all. Nice big, dry finish.

Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Citrusy aroma of tangerines and grapefruits. Fresh grapefruit juice flavor. Moderately bitter finish. Grapefruit rind bitterness. Light to medium bodied.

On cask at Brea location. An absolute surprise here. A great beer for the style. Color was a standard dull gold. Aroma was very floral with some bread; dry hop-like aroma. Flavor of flowers, yeast and a bit of citrus and caramel. Quite bitter for style. Nice creamy palate.

Straw clored brew with a fluffy white head. Reminds me a little of AVBC Poleeko Gold.More of floral hop bite. Finishes with an herbal bitterness.

On cask at the brewpub on 12/3/06: Pours a slightly hazy bright golden with a wispy-lacing thin white head. Lightly sweet pale malty aroma has some floral citrusy hoppy notes. Body starts with good light sweetness and smooth mildly bitter grapefruity hoppy balance and a touch of honey. Very drinkable and refreshing with lots of flavor.
