hazy light amber, wispy off white head, lots of fresh hop aroma with a touch of citrus hops, bold hop flavor, lots of fruity malt character to back up the citrus hops, long bitter finish

Apr 16, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 12/3/06: Pours a clear copper orange with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of piny fresh green hops and some sweet grainy caramel malt. Body starts lightly sticky sweet and showing lots of bittering grapefruity hoppy flavor drying a little toward a balanced, bittersweet finish. A decent IPA.

Feb 8, 2007 Poured a hazy copper color with a small off-white head. Oranges and citrus aroma to start. The big caramel and big grapefruit. The flavor was dominated by oranges and citrus. Malty backbone is sturdy. Semi-dry and mildly bitter finish.

Feb 7, 2008 From old notes. Gold amber. Big hoppy aroma. Lots of pine and citrus. Nice bitterness, but well balanced. Brought home a growler and drank it quite easily. Very pleasant dry bitter finish.

Apr 28, 2009 Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Lemon and orange aroma. Crisp lemon mild pine and slightly astringent bitterness.

Nov 9, 2006 This India Pale Ale has a very nice citric/hoppy nose along with a moderately hoppy flavor. It finishes very dry.

Sep 21, 2008 On tap at Taps. Color was amber. Aroma was very citrusy and flower. Very nice aroma. It said in the description at Taps that it was dry hopped. I was surprised then that I liked the flavor as much, because I don’t normally like that. Flavor of bread, caramel with a lot of floral and some citrus components. A bit medicinal, but it was still good. Nice version of the style.

Aug 31, 2005 Clear copper appearance. Lemony, tea aroma. Initial malty palate, good body, plenty of lemon and grapefruit citrus. Lingers dry and citrussy in the finish.
