Commercial Description:
Originally brewed in England in the 18th and 19th centuries for export to the thirsty colonials stationed in India. Higher in alcohol and hop content (both natural preservatives), this deep amber, fruity ale has a big hop nose and a pleasantly dry finish.

Great beer. Lots of fresh citrus and pine aroma, the grapefruit flavor is very pronounced, semi-dry finish. Very easy to drink.

Had during their awesome brunch. Very good example of an IPA with loads of hops and bitterness in the flavor. Nice citrus/floral nose that carried over to the finish. Good clean brew

Super nice amber looking beer. Clean crisp, hop bomb flavor. Menu says this is 8%, but it’s totally easy to drink. Very good.

On tap at Taps. Color was amber. Aroma was very citrusy and flower. Very nice aroma. It said in the description at Taps that it was dry hopped. I was surprised then that I liked the flavor as much, because I don’t normally like that. Flavor of bread, caramel with a lot of floral and some citrus components. A bit medicinal, but it was still good. Nice version of the style.

Pours rich amber brown with thin white head. Darker than most IPAs. Aroma is dominated by hops and subtle malt. Flavor begins nice and hoppy with good roasted taste. This IPA is more malty than most, but the balance between hops and malt is very well executed. An nice IPA.

Poured a hazy copper color with a small off-white head. Oranges and citrus aroma to start. The big caramel and big grapefruit. The flavor was dominated by oranges and citrus. Malty backbone is sturdy. Semi-dry and mildly bitter finish.

On cask pump. I have had this IPA a number of times, but on cask, it was really good. Much more hop aroma and bitterness. A rather fun drinking IPA. I tried to get my growler filled with it but they wouldn’t do a growler of a cask beer.
