Aug 5, 2009 On tap at Brea. Color was reddish auburn with an off white head. Aroma of red malt, roasted malt, yeast and must. Flavor of fruit, red malt, chalk and yeast; with a bit of peat like smoke. A nice mild bitterness to finish. Solid beer.

Jul 23, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours golden hazzlenut brown with a small off-white head. Breadish and roasted malt aroma. Roasted breadish malt flavoured. Light bitterness and subdued roasted flavours. Roasted and delicate bitter finish.

Feb 7, 2008 Pours reddish with no head. Aroma of toffee and caramel malts. Sweet initially with caramel and toffee with a moderately bitter finish. Well made like most of their offerings.
