Aroma was mostly caramel with some notes of yeast, chocolate and toffee. The flavor had a nice maltiness with some fruity yeast notes. No noticable bitterness of hop flavor. beerbill (1968), Laurel, New York, USA

Pours a clear copper with a thin saltine colored head. Lots of large carbonation bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. Pleasant aroma of caramel malt. Flavor is again caramel malt with a very light touch of milk chocolate as well. No hops to speak of. Very smooth and easy to drink. Huge wet bread and yeast on the nose, with a little malt sweetness under. Medium body, minimal carb. A little sweet on the attack, then almost nothing after that. This seems like an unfinished effort. JohnC (2285), Mission Viejo, California, USA
