Bottle in one of the North Shields Pubs in Istanbul. This beer poured a straw yellow colour and was served a little too cold for my liking. Some yeastiness and wheat tastes with an impressive bitterness, good hops, really refreshing very good beer. look forward to this if it’s on tap at the brewpub.

6x330ML bottles from Migros Kayseri less than 2YTL per bottle, sampled at home. Strong nose with a hint of grapefruit which is confirmed in the taste, pale & very highly carbonated giving a large short lasting head, a little thin with a bitter aftertaste.

Bottle shared by marchcow. Thanks for bringing this back from Turkey! Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Smelled of yeasty bread dough with light, but pleasant flowery hops and a dash of spices. Light bodied and dry with mild bitterness. I tasted grassy hops, flower blossom, and pale malts. There was also a strange but endearing dash of funk in there somewhere and a bit of fruit came out at the end. Pretty nice beer to kick the tasting off with!

Draught at the brewpub in Atiye Sokak, Istanbul
Light blond color. Light beer, but at least with light crispy malt. Light but very nice hoppy aroma (Saaz-like). The flavor is perhaps too watery. Good bitterness lever, also some residual sweetness at the end.
