Dark, smooth, roasty, and slightly sweet. The use of rolled oats rounds out the palate making it surprisingly easy to drink.

Dark brown with a tan head. Unsweetened chocolate, coffee and some berry/cherry in the nose. Roasty, sweet and a hop bite towards the finish, more slightly bitter . A bit of a mineraly aftertaste. Simple and easy drinking. Great palate!

Pours a rich opaque with a thin lightly-lacing tan head. Aroma is subtle, sweet and roasty with some milk chocolate. Body starts full, chocolatey and malty with a very nice, smooth balance of caramel, dark chocolate, and bittering hops toward the finish.

Opaque reddish brown appearance. Roasted coffee, nutty aroma. Roasted coffee and toffee flavor, pleasant dryness, fairly hoppy fruity finish Quite a bit going on, good multi-dimensional oatmeal stout.

on tap cask: Aroma was amazing. Strong coffee and oatmeal. Taste was sort of watery but nutty and alcoholy. Not bad.

Pours a dark brown color with a very small head. Aroma is almost non-existent. Flavor is moderately sweet with little else. Body is watery. Not the best sweet stout stout I’ve had.
