Dark, smooth, roasty, and slightly sweet. The use of rolled oats rounds out the palate making it surprisingly easy to drink.

Dark brown with a tan head. Unsweetened chocolate, coffee and some berry/cherry in the nose. Roasty, sweet and a hop bite towards the finish, more slightly bitter . A bit of a mineraly aftertaste. Simple and easy drinking. Great palate!

Pours a rich opaque with a thin lightly-lacing tan head. Aroma is subtle, sweet and roasty with some milk chocolate. Body starts full, chocolatey and malty with a very nice, smooth balance of caramel, dark chocolate, and bittering hops toward the finish.

Opaque reddish brown appearance. Roasted coffee, nutty aroma. Roasted coffee and toffee flavor, pleasant dryness, fairly hoppy fruity finish Quite a bit going on, good multi-dimensional oatmeal stout.

I had this on draft at Taps’ brewpub. It pours jet black with a thin tan head. The flavor is dry, roasty with hints of oats. Very smooth and tasty.

Finished off the brunch with this one. Very dark almost jet black with nice tan head. Very smooth slight oat flavor but probably got that from name. Nice roasted flavor and no bitterness and no hops...not that its a good thing that there were no hops but made it real easy to drink for brunch. Could be because I had this after an IPA and a ESB...I’ll be back to this joint!

ON cask at Taps; I am surprised all these beers don’t have more ratings. Color was pretty nice; a darkish, red tinted brown. Aroma of caramel, oats, vanilla, lactic sweetness, wood and cocoa. Flavor had a good amount of sweetness, oats, caramel, cocoa and vanilla. Not too strong of roasted presnce. Good for the style.

Tap at the Corona location. Deep dark mahogony, almost black with a tan head. Very mild aroma, clean and roasty. Very smooth, creamy mouthfeel, light roastiness, very drinkable. Good stuff.

(Draft) Pours a dark brown body with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, and semi-sweet chocolate. Rich flavor of roasted malt and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel.
