| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 5, 2006 Finished off the brunch with this one. Very dark almost jet black with nice tan head. Very smooth slight oat flavor but probably got that from name. Nice roasted flavor and no bitterness and no hops...not that its a good thing that there were no hops but made it real easy to drink for brunch. Could be because I had this after an IPA and a ESB...I’ll be back to this joint! alexanderj (2279), Chino Hills, California, USA

Color was pretty nice; a darkish, red tinted brown. Aroma of caramel, oats, vanilla, lactic sweetness, wood and cocoa. Flavor had a good amount of sweetness, oats, caramel, cocoa and vanilla. Not too strong of roasted presnce. Good for the style. Hophead22 (1105), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA
