| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2007 Bottle; poured a black color with a nice light brown head. Aroma was light with mostly cocoa and some light roasted elements. Flavor was much better; alot of coffee and roasted malt with chocolate accents. Soft on the palate. Pretty good version of the style. ajm (949), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Out of the cask. I found the aroma the most elegant, because it was not only butterscotchy but plain buttery, which is hard to pull off in a dark beer. The flavor wasn’t nearly as well done: even on cask, the body came off watery and underroasted. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
