beerbill (1316), Laurel, New York, USA Nov 4, 2007 Growler received in a trade with dirty_martini. Thanks Larry! Pours a cloudy copper with a thin yellow/white head that disappeared fairly quickly. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin, malt and allspice. The flavor is equally pleasant with malt, pumpkin, and allspice. Nice smooth finish and very easy to drink. Good stuff! dirty_martini (194), Los Angeles, California, USA Nov 2, 2007 one of my favorites every year. nice solid malt base with a hint of pumpkin flavor as the base flavor. nicely balanced with cinnamon and nutmeg, with a slightly sharper spice flavor added from the cloves and allspice. we may not have the big change of seasons here in so cal, but we have this every year to remind us fall is here. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/03/2006

dark yellow, wispy off white head, sweet cinamon aroma, light cinamon flavor on a good malt base that has lots of pumpkin character, light spiced bitter finish, nice that the spices balance rather than take over

goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 8, 2007 Poured a lgiht hazzy copper color. The aroma was spicey with notes of cinnamon and ginger that covers up the malt. It isn’t overpowering though. A little minty. The flavor was malty with a quick hit of cinnamon and spice. The finish was short other than light spice giving some length. alexanderj (1340), San Diego, California, USA Dec 18, 2006 Updated: Nov 22, 2007Was pleasantly surprised with this beer. Very good compared to the other pumpkin beers I had. Aroma was of pumpkin and cinnamom/spices. Palate was good, as was the flavor. Flavors much of the same as the aroma. (Rerated on Thanksgiving; agree with my original rating)
