Jun 7, 2009 It poured a cloudy dark amber liquid with a big foam that left a nice lacing. The smell was a bit weak but I could sense malt, bread, hint of nuts, meath brooth and something sweet. It also had a weak taste with some malt, bread, hint of meat brooth and someting sweet. Easy to drink with a low bitterness. However slightly accidic at the end.

May 30, 2009 Starts off kind of a cute cottage beer - cheery orange-red pour, forward flavors and aromas of slighly tangy ale-fruits and fresh yeast. Nods to english style. Caramelly. Turns kind of malt-extract-like later in the glass, with a clingy sweetness that wrecks the finish a little. Feels a bit soapy, the hops don’t express well. Under-attenuated sugars? A little bit Home-kit like. Not a repeat. Is cute to look at though.

May 9, 2009 Can. Ugh, it’s like they’ve mixed coke with a cream ale. Way too tangy and sweet. This was pretty disgusting.

Jan 20, 2009 Can. Poured red-amber with creamy head. Tart apple aroma. Medium mouthfeel, tangy malty. Medium bitter finish that lasts til the next sip. Not as smooth as other cream ales I’ve tried.

The smell is very one dimensional malt which is sweet and sugary. Not an overly complex or enticing aroma.
The taste is way too sweet from start to finish. There is almost no hop character to the beer, but the malt isnt complex enough to carry the taste like a brown ale or scotch ale. Quite strange. Very unbalanced.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with a pretty low carbonation. Kind of feels flat in the mouth.
The sweetness is too much and makes this beer pretty undrinkable. I could barely finish the can, let alone have another. Add some more damn hops

Oct 3, 2008 Reddish colour. Caramelly, earthy nose with a light blackberry fruitiness. Soft, clean, lightly caramelly palate is lightly fruity.

Oct 2, 2008 Draught @ Winking Judge. Clear, red, with small white head. Blackberry, tobacco, and cherries in the nose. Weird cherry pit bitterness at the end. Strange but drinkable.
