2009-02-29. Crisp dark yellow body with a tiny white head. Sweetish aroma, touch of honey and grains. (6+) Flavour starts sweet with a rough grainy secondary, very light bitterness. Average to light bodied palate. Meh. Can from LCBO

Can, 500 ml, best before 20-03-2009, purchased at the LCBO, savoured on March 3 2009; eye: golden, extra clear, average effervescence, white head made up of rather large bubbles that falls and turns into a tiny ring, no lacing; nose: grain, caramel malt; mouth: caramel malt, sugar, sweet finale in caramel malt, silky, mildly sweet, rather carbonated, thin-medium body; overall: better than my expectations FRANÇAIS Canette, 500 ml, meilleure avant 20-03-2009, achetée à la LCBO, savourée le 3 mars 2009; œil : dorée, extra claire, effervescence moyenne, mousse blanche formée de bulles plutôt grosses qui tombe et se transforme en un petit anneau, pas de dentelle; nez : grain, malt caramel; bouche : malt caramel, sucre, finale sucrée en maïs, soyeuse, moyennement sucrée, plutôt carbonatée, corps mince-moyen; en résumé : meilleure que mes attentes

Bottle at Stary Mlyn. Yellow with a white head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel), light hoppy. flavor moderate sweet, light bitter. Medium body. This was 6%.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grian, molasses, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081018]

Clear golden with a large white head. Sweet fruity aroma with malty notes. Flavour was sweet and fruity with malty and caramel notes. Finished mild bitter.

650ml bottle from Poland: not unlike the last Polish beer I had. Poured golden yellow with a thick white head. Moderate hoppy aroma, slight pepper. More alcohol finish in the taste than the Warka. Mild grain and hops in the taste. Drinkable but that is about it.

Picked up a bottle at the Binny-apostrophe-s in Orland Park, IL. The ABV is listed as 6.0 on my bottle, naysaying the 2008 claims of the commercial description. It has a sweet grainy aroma with a dash of grassy hops. The hops are too subdued in the flavor, allowing a corny sweetness to be added to the fray. Pretty drinkable.

Can from the LCBO. Rich golden colour with a large white head that disappears frightening quickly. Aroma is sweet and grainy, faint herbal hop notes. Medium bodied, crisp off the top but a bit sticky in the finish. Standard mainstream Eurolager flavour, mild and decently balanced, with perhaps a touch more grassy hops in the finish than some. Did a good job washing down a plate of pierogi and sausage.
