Commercial Description:
The name Taybeh (tai-bey)in arabic means "delicious". The name of this beer style, amber, comes from the german word "alt" meaning old. This refers to the aging alts undergo since they ferment slower at colder tempratures. Taybeh amber, my own local brew is rich with full flavour and generally a favorite of mine

Bottle: Thanks DSG! Pours a clear rusty brown with a dark orange hue, and a thin creamy tan head. The aroma is toasted crystal malt, caramel, bread crust, and a nutty hint. Pretty nice. Fairly light feel. The flavor has a toasted bread crust touch along with a very subtle dark caramel hint. There’s a quick toasted sourdough note that’s followed by the mildly bitter finish. An overall decent brew and well balanced.

Pours brown with an off white head. Smells of sweet malt with a nice rosey character. Tastes of sweet malt with some nice spicy hints. This brewery has a lot of potential and I hope they succeed!

Bottle, 5.5%. OK spicy hop aroma with caramelly maltiness. Clear amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely spicy from the hops. Some caramel in flavour, too.
