Taylor Blonde Ale

On tap at Taylor Brewing. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived, but dense cap of white head.. sticky lacing as it descended. The aroma was lighter and surprisingly pleasant with honey and bready sweetness.. sweet overall with a pinch of lemon zest and piney hoppage.. really good! The flavor found sweeter honey, caramel, and fruity notes at the core with peppery, citrus, and pine bitterness around.. open and engaging.. long-ish sweet and bitter finish.. solid. Lighter-bodied on the palate with creamy carbonation.. moderate, well-placed bitterness.. nicely-balanced and enjoyable.
