Commercial Description:
A very smooth, golden, creamy beer with a low carbonation that makes this beer very drinkable.

On tap at Taylor Brewing. Poured clear bright golden with a short, sticky cap of white head. The aroma was sweet with toffee, caramel, and butterscotch represented.. spritzy, vegetal undertones. The flavor found sweet honey, toffee, and butterscotch with light herbal and piney accents.. too sweet, and not a tasty sweetness.. I did not like the components. Creamy and buttery on the palate.. paired with my notes above, made this very difficult to swallow.

Draft. Still made by Two Brothers. Golden lagery body under a thin head. A nice light malty smell. Light ale taste with smoothed over malts. No more than a basic hop balance with some spice poking out of the bitterness. Pleasing enough session beer; a not-thrilling example of a not-thrilling style., but good with Taylor’s happy hour bowl of popcorn.

Contract brewed by Two Brothers Brewing Company, Warrenville, IL

Pure golden with a slight head and a hint of carbonation. A touch of vinegar in aroma that is otherwise nutty buttercream... all in all, rather like a sour cream soda (not offensive, though). Flavor was bitter and nutty, hearty & roasted. Not bad.

Sooo bad. Not creamy, very acidic - almost sour, is it a lambic? Skunk! Maybe they’ve got a bad tap or something. Was sitting at a table of 5 other beer fans - everyone tasted it and said the same thing - we sent it back. Guess I should try it again just to see if we had a bad batch - but I’m too scared to. Yuck!

Best thing about this one is the smooth creamy mouthfeel...almost buttery. But, as everyone else pointed out, this has a lot more spritz to it than advertised. Decent enough cream ale.
