Ughsmash (3071), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 28, 2008 On tap at Taylor Brewing. Poured crystal-clear lighter golden with very little white head.. some sticky lacing. The aroma was quite sweet with raspberry seeds and light vegetal mash.. a little warmth brought about a whole bunch of almost unbearable fruity sweetness. In the flavor department, raspberries made themselves inconvenient in almost every way possible.. tart where they shouldn’t have been, lingering on the finish, and sweeter than need be.. tart wheat and vegetal notes stuck with the misplaced seeds on the finish. Light-bodied, highly-carbonated, and poorly balanced on the palate.. very hard to drink. Walt (2287), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 15, 2008 Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head...smells like raspberry syrup...taste is syrupy sweet raspberry...blech. ElGaucho (1721), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Nov 11, 2006 Clear raspberries in the aroma. Cloudy gold color without much head. What is there is thin and off-white. Streak lace. Some bubbles. Initial mouthfeel is favorable. Wheat and raspberry are evident. A little sour. Sometimes fruit beers are overly sweet and usually it isn’t intended. This isn’t a bad beer, and is closer to good than most of the brews in the 6-beer sampler. frankenkitty (1798), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2005 Contract brewed by Two Brothers Brewing Company, Warrenville, IL
Amber-colored. Intriguing aromas were not only raspberry, but held a defined pumpkin flesh, a touch of melon and a fresh, green-vegetable essence. The flavor, too, was not overwhelmingly fruity, revealing that it sat on a stable, wheat base. Flat presence and rather thin. For a brewpub fruit beer, this wasn’t too bad.

Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Jul 26, 2005 No notable color for a "berry" beer, golden. Some hint of raspberry on the nose, and in the flavor. No notable beer flavor, finishes fresh and crisp.
