A dark caramel color with a small beige head. Smells great! Crystal? malts with traditional German style hops, it smells "chewy"! The bitter bite of the hops jumps out up front, the sweeter malts are there and make a valiant attempt to take center stage, but alas, it is not to be. The day belongs to the hops. Delicious!
