Rare to find a foreighn light beer that’s worse than Bud Light or Miller Lite, but guess what? This is the one.

I was really disappointed with the light version of an otherwise decent beer. Almost no flavour to speak of. Even more flavourless than Bud Light. No aftertaste; Like water, it’s gone as soon as swallowed.

Those silver cans are sooo cool. The chicks like the fine importiveness of it and the low calories.

Score. Medium yellowish body with a thin scum of a head. A little corny with some bologna. There is a light bell pepper with some banana peel. There is not much else to say about this light bodied brew. Decently made.

Can. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), trace hops (flowers), with a hint of lime zest. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Slightly better in aroma and flavor than the regular Tecate for the simple reason that there’s not as much to offend the nostrils or tongue.

12 oz. glass bottle- color of transparent gold, with a no head to speak of - nose of oats, hay , grassy , and stale – light taste of not much, some skunk, oat, and grass- body is light, dry, and with medium carbonation – aftertaste is little to none

Oh Tecate, why do you smell like raw sewage. Your eau de rotting cabbage is quite foul. Your sickly pale yellow body and pathetic short lived fizzy head makes you look foolish next to other beers. Still, you are quenching on a hot summer’s day, with your slightly tart finish and mildy perfumy hop "character" wafting from your thin fizzy body. Oh Tecate, you could have been so much more...

Pours clear yellow, some carbonation, head disappears quickly. Aroma of water with a little beer, the taste is the same. Perfect for beer thirty, or after working in 100 degree heat all day. Otherwise, avoid.
