potbeercollege (246), Boulder, Colorado, USA Nov 7, 2009 Canned. Pours a predicted piss yellow with no head. Aroma is sweet and light malt. NOt bitter at all. Better than all cheap American Domestic brews (if you don’t count stuff like Yuengling). thehurt01 (200), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 25, 2009 22 oz bottle. The beer is a major brand drinker with not a lot of flavor. The body is gold with a thin head. The beer has good carbonation. Jblauvs (528), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Oct 25, 2009 Yellow pour with white frothy head. Corny aroma with some sweetness. Flavor is sweet and grainy. Refreshing with the spicy food I ordered it with but other that that not good for much doomfistinc (15), New Mexico, USA Oct 21, 2009 1 quart bottle. Though made by the same company, this is a cheap imitation of Carta Blanca. Less taste/smell, more carbonation, inferior cerveza. Why one company would produce a seemingly watered down version of an okay beer that they already make is beyond me. danielyabu (265), União da Vitória, Brazil Oct 18, 2009 average frothy white head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. thin clear sparkling yellow body. aroma: light bread, heavy hops, light yeast, dough and honey. if and ff: light sweet and bitter. average duration. palate: light body, watery texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish.leves toques de mel, aguada, refrescante 3,5s phaleslu (420), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Oct 16, 2009 12 oz. bottle at a Mexican restaurant in LAX. Pale gold, big frothy white head that fizzes down quickly, and a lot of visible carbonation. Grainy, corny aroma with some maltiness. The flavor doesn’t add much to that- just sweet and grainy. The high carbonation makes for a bubbly, foamy mouthfeel, perhaps to distract from how watery the beer is. Points for not being skunky, though. Still, I’m not surprised so many people want to shove lime in these or put salt on the rim. nickd717 (1265), Palo Alto, California, USA Oct 12, 2009 On tap at a wedding. Wow, this is awful. Fizzy clear yellow color with a quickly fading white head. Aroma is rice, corn, and sweet pale malt. Flavor is more of the same, really grainy, without much to it. Palate is pretty watery with high carbonation. Did a side-by-side with Budweiser, and they are almost exactly the same beer. Elwood (647), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Oct 12, 2009 Serving: 24 oz. can. Gotta love the tallboy!
Appearance: Pale gold with an effervescent white head. The head is gone pretty quickly with no lacing left behind.
Aroma: Light grain and corn notes. Not much else.
Flavor: Grainy with a touch of alcohol and some sweet adjunct notes. While this isn’t necessarily a good thing, it certainly could be worse.
Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a medium short, slightly sweet finish.
Overall: It actually isn’t a bad pairing with spicy Mexican food but it really isn’t anything you want to drink on a consistent basis.
