Fizzy clear yellow color with a quickly fading white head. Aroma is rice, corn, and sweet pale malt. Flavor is more of the same, really grainy, without much to it. Palate is pretty watery with high carbonation. Did a side-by-side with Budweiser, and they are almost exactly the same beer. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA

Appearance: Pale gold with an effervescent white head. The head is gone pretty quickly with no lacing left behind.
Aroma: Light grain and corn notes. Not much else.
Flavor: Grainy with a touch of alcohol and some sweet adjunct notes. While this isn’t necessarily a good thing, it certainly could be worse.
Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a medium short, slightly sweet finish.
Overall: It actually isn’t a bad pairing with spicy Mexican food but it really isn’t anything you want to drink on a consistent basis. poisoneddwarf (183), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Oct 10, 2009 Mexican Nite Cerveza Numero Dos! 12 oz bottle. I often hear people talk of this beer and how superior it is to most other Mexican beers. Let’s see how it holds up. Aroma is of an old gym locker, just like the Corona. Another whiff gives off a strong presence of stale cheap adjunct grains, some alcohol. Pale gold hue, with no head, bad lacing. It looks almost identical to the Corona. 1st taste impression: is this Corona bottled in a Tecate bottle? It tastes the same: slightly sweet, watery. A little less carbonation than the Corona, but otherwise pretty much the same beer. voiceofreason (47), New Jersey, USA

The light complexity and barely noticeable taste made me think that I was drinking mineral water splashed with yellow six food coloring. Rciesla (3645), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper body with a white head. Dank malts, nutty, light grain, some dried fruit or corn like. Sweet and mildly bitter. Better than the light for sure. coldbrewky (730), Saugerties, New York, USA

A light corniness and light body equal a sweeter drinkability than Dos Equis but not by much. Lime helps enduring htis swill.
