Like the old gal said in her outraged exasperation, "Where’s the Beef??" There just isn’t much flavor to this beer, maybe a faintly discernible bitterness-hops. On the other hand it’s inoffensive and goes down like spring water. Not being one of the herd of masochists that insists on a beer that works you over like Tony Soprano when you "dis" his daughter, I can live with it. But I have to damn it with faint praise.

i like this one..... doesn’t taste like too much but nothing unfresh or skunky... a lot easier to put away than bud... almost like a coors light imo. Re-rate. still a solid drinker. Corn, yeah possibly.. but clean corn and a easy drink.. I just ate some harsh belgian ale and this is kind of a relief right now. An okay sleeper right now zzzzzzzz..... May taste like piss but I honestly wouldn’t know.

I actually drank this out of a can so my review may be skewed somewhat. Slightly skunky odor to me and there was nothing at all memorable about the beer. I will say that I like it much better than Corona but its definitely not my favorite Mexican beer (Negra Modelo). I do remember drinking two of these as soon as I landed in Mexico on my honeymoon and it tasted better there than it does here. Ambience?

Another beer from Mexico... I’m hoping it’s legal. Light yellow pour with a head that recedes as quickly as our sovereignity. Aroma has some sweet maltiness. Taste is rather bland but not as funky as expected. Not much going on... kinda like the border patrol. This beer is like comprehensive immigration reform... flat, unimpressive and a complete failure.

I didnt get a chance to grade this beer yet....b/c it was stolen from me... so....... idk...........idk.....

Friend offered me a 12oz so I figured what the heck. Very light corny grain flavor. Very bland. I had to add tons of tapatio hot sauce to the beer to be able to drink it.

12 oz bottle- final of the three mexican macro lagers I drank at (cough cough) Chevys. Very light straw colored. Aroma is adjuncts as expected- taste is very light, somewhat crisp, with very light notes of malt thrown in with corn. Bland as all hell, didn’t taste like much of anything.

this is one of the most fashionable beers in the north part of mexico, it cant be a party without at least one of them. i dont like it, its too sweet, it dont have an aftertaste, basically its piss water!
