| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 7, 2007 12 oz. bottle served at Don Pablos restaurant in Easton, PA. Pours a pale yellow gold with a fizzy white head that was gone after a few sips. Scant aroma of corn and malt. Flavor is mostly corn with a trace of malt and hops. Thin mouthfeel. Not offensive, but not very good either. 184601 (144), Mexicali, Mexico
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 5, 2007 This mainstream mexican beer its actually a good drop if consumed in bottle rather than can, has a hoppy aroma, no corn and/or rice like almost american big-selling pale lagers. The cons: the head dissapear until a few minutes, but overall better than corona or budweiser BelgianBeerGal (1306), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Oct 4, 2007 Bottle/can/draft. Forgot to rate this after a Cancun holiday years ago. I most likely forgot because it was really just straw/corn coloured/flavoured fizzy water. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

It is pretty light and maybe a touch over carbonated. While drinking this beer I thought back to the time I spent in Mexico for my honeymoon and I’m not really sure how I drank so much of this while at the resort. Hmm... Now that I think about it more, maybe I drank so much Tecate because it was the only choice of beer that was available to me!
12 fl. oz. bottle at friend’s house during the 3rd Annual Poker Party. Thanks Ryan! Rating #558 for this beer... radiomgb (2056), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Clear golden in colour, initially large white coloured head, huge bubbles, some lacing. The aroma is sour, wheaty, corny, metallic and some light skunk. The flavour is of stale pale malts, corn syrup, cereal and wheat, horribly sweet and sticky. Sweet mouthfel, light body, high carbonation. Finishes lingering, bitter turning sweet. Absolutely horrible stuff, the cooked vegetables become a bit much.
