Light clear gold with a faint white head. I might have rated the aroma and flavor a little if I could have smelled or tasted something. There is not enough there to make it bad. Just damn plain. I guess at best it quenches your thirst.

Bottle. Yellow pour with aroma of corn and cardboard. Fizzy head. Stale aftertaste.

tasteless, watery mexican beer. Slight malt. Grassy. Poor choice anytime, anywhere.

Appearance is typical for this sort of beer. Aroma is malty and rather weak. Taste is malty and thin, nothing special. Though it is smooth and easy to drink, it did not impress me. Then again, I drank it from a can; maybe a bottle or on-tap serving would have tasted better.

I have always preferred this to Corona, although I went through a period when I smoked too much weed and came to a realization that Tecate tasted like what I thought urine would taste like. I now dont smoke pot, and think it is a servicable pale lager. Better than any american crap really. A slight crisp aroma. Appearance is pale yellow. Flavor is crisper than Corona, with less noticable grain. Still some though. Does have a strange mouthfeel for some reason, but I can deal with it. A pleasant beer to drink in Mexico, at a BBQ, or if you want to drink alot!

Pours light, very watery, but leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Bad even for a mexican beer. Go with a Dos Equis or Corona.
