Pours light, very watery, but leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Bad even for a mexican beer. Go with a Dos Equis or Corona.

in can, 340 ml. Color amber, very pale, with a white, gaseous head, and that vanishes rapidly. The aroma is with something of malty, and some grains (Something). The flavor is strong enough, but bad. The body is weak, watery. One beer light, light enough.

this is, of course, a Mexican lager intended and (in my case at least) taken as a light, refreshing summer beer to be enjoyed in excessive quantities in a can(preferably 24oz.) rimmed with salt and garnished with lime to ACCENTUATE THE SOLID MALT FLAVOR AND MILD HOP PRESENCE...a delicious, uncompromising Mexican beer that should not be compared to the most extreme American micro-brews...it is what it is: a satisfying, balanced, summer pounder beer that should usurp Corona: the bong-water of Mexican beer, intended for American tourists and people who buy beer based on prevalence of television advertisements...

It smelled malty with a bit of honey. The pour was light with no head. It tasted mainly of grass with light hops and yeast underneath. The grass taste stays on the palate ringed with honey.

Canned. Average mexican lager. Needs the lime just to excite some interest. Malty, watery and not a lot else.

Pours light pale amber color with a head that is white, fizzy, and dissipates quickly. The aroma was corn-like, cheap caramel malts. The flavor was adjunct-laden, only got this cuz we were looking for a beer while playing shuffleboard in the hotel bar in Stillwater. I should have gotten the lime to go with it.

reason for the high rating is that this beer goes excelelnt with the mouth doused in lemon juice and salt. an excellent summer bbq beer. inexpensive and good for binge drinking. very light in flavor, color and aroma.

Not a bad Mexican beer. Good with lime. Mostly served in a can here. in Illinois. Mexican beers are not my favorite but I’ll drink this happily when it fits the mood
