this beer was serves at a friends home. The host suggested adding salt and a lime to it. I accepted the lime and passed on the salt. It was pretty good. Went down smooth.

Muy Mal. Has a really off taste and has way too much bad taste for a light beer. The worst mexican beer around. However, Its kinda cheap in mexico so thats a plus.

(bottle)poured into a pint. A golden light amber with light head. I first drank this beer because I heard it was Jim Morrison’s Favorite. I cannot authenticate that claim, it is what my college roomate told me so I ran with it. It is not bad for what it is, a light lager. I do not mind it strait from the bottle during a game or something when I am not concentrating on what I am drinking. Not a tasters beer.

Pour was a light amber with a small fizzy white head. Nose of caramel and spruce. Taste was heavy of caramel, toffee, brown sugar, and light spruce. Wonderful flavor, and very smooth. This has the best caramel flavor ever.

Light amber pour with a thin head. Very watery and tasteless. Impossible to drink without lemon or lime.

Used to drink this many years ago on a tight budget while living in Houston, TX. The ads said, "Pop it, squeeze it, shake it." That meant to get any flavor or enjoyment from this swill, you would pop the top, squeeze in some lemon and shake some salt into the beer. Need I say more for this beer?

About the same as you’ll find with Dos XX, a slightly skunky aroma, and nothing really special to note. That being said, I tend to prefer this beer from the other mexican lagers because it brings with it a bit of a bolder taste.

Bottle. Golden pour with light head. This is my least favorite mexican beer so far. Corona tasted much better.
