| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | May 7, 2006 Mexican swillfest beer 2 of 3. Poured a dull yellow body with a rapidly diminishing fizzy head. Aroma had very light cereal. Not the usual flavor descriptor, but the type of cereal that has been soaked in milk for hours on end. The flavor had this junk aroma and flavors with some corn added. Yum! cweb7 (39), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Drank it for the bottle and I can’t complain, the 6 pack cost 5 american dollars. Probably the Budweiser of MExico, although I’ve never made it past a border town to comfirm this thought. bigtasty (23), USA

I don’t do anything to it, just pop it open and drink it...fast, enjoying its simple pleasures on my coordination. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | May 7, 2006 Can, pint glass 35F. Slightly sweet aromas, no noticible hops smells. Clear light gold color, with a very small rapidy diminishing white head. Taste of very small malts, with a bit more rice, similar to cheap sake. It is thirst quenching and easy to drink. Almost no mouth feel other than cold. Good for mowing the lawn or grilling. Other than that pass on this very light and watery lager. FistFullOfCats (162), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

Personally, I would never want to down a heavy Belgian tipple while feasting on spicy salsa and refried beans. Tecate services its purpose with its light sweet flavor and refreshing, but watery, body. These beers are never going to be as complex at some imperial stout, but this one sets out to do exactly what it intends to do, and much better than Corona or pretty much any of the mass produced American skank lagers trying to do something similar. Ok, rant over. Enjoy a Tecate for Cinco de Mayo. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA

This still isn’t too bad in a frosted mug, with a dash of salt and a slice of lime, while washing down chips and hot sauce.
