From 50cl can, golden with giant white head that stays, aroma sweet malt, corn, and some herbs, flavor is maltish with some corn, no hop no bitterness, quite watery. Without character

pours a golden color, lots of carbonation. Typical Mexican beer skunky taste of sour grains with a little bit of hops and gain alcohol notes. I am just not sure why so many people love Tecate and Corona... there really is not much to love! unless you are just trying to be "upper class" and not drink domestic bud/miller products.

Bottle - Cosco mix pack. Sol or Tecate?? What is the difference? I drank these one after the other and can’t tell the difference. I give them both a 2 for flavor because I do taste some hops after the beer sat there and warmed up a little. Palete OK. I’m not sure if they even us malt in this beer; rice and corn sugar?? Not impressed!

Is ’Tecate’ Spanish for ’Turd-like?’ Skunky grainy aroma, sweet grainy flavors and aroma, kinda baaaad. Not-enjoyed at some second-rate Mexi resto in Chelsea with a fancy blue water thing.

Probably one of thje cheapest beer available here. Not much to say about it. Typical mexican beer! Its easy to be hard on them but a lot of people like em.

On tap at a pretty crappy Mexican food place. Color was a clear dull gold. Aroma of sweet malt, grain and bread. Flavor was much of the same. Pretty generic.

Not too keen on this one. Lacking in much substance really and is an OK whatever beer. Has a heavy grainy taste.

Bottle. A pale golden color body with a short fizzy head,no lacing left, light carbonation. Aroma of grain husks, cooked corn and a hint of hops.Flavor is grainy, biscuty, more of the corn, slightly sweet intially, with just a hint of bitterness, and skunk but not in a bad way. Light body, crisp clean mouthfeel, dry lager type finish. Quaffable and not offensive,,, meh another Pale Lager.
