shared by thedm and hotstuff - Pours clear with a slight yellow tinge that may or may not have just been the lighting. It has a fruity, perfume like aroma. The flavor is sweet and floral with a light to medium body. There’s ample alcohol apparent, but it’s a pretty smooth drink. Good.

This is a clear, still sake shared by thedm and hotstuff. Nose has lots of white lightning alcohol with some floral purfumes and some sticky sweet notes. The flavor is not as harsh as the nose would suggest. Lots of floral tones with an almost honey sweetness. Also, lots of alcohol with a long alcohol evaporation on the tongue. I don’t have a lot of experience with sake yet, but this one seemed very drinkable.

bar code 4 934317 or 4 934347 Dark Green bottle chilled to 50 degrees. This bottled sake from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated clear colored body. The mild aroma was vinous alcohol and rice. The clean crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a burning vinous alcohol aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of alcohol and rice. An OK sake just nothing special.
