Jukkabro (2394), Tampere, Finland Oct 3, 2006 Dark yellow colored, little white head. Aroma is good pilsner aroma: hopped, floral and fruity with even some bitter IPA-dryness. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is as good as aroma. Crispy carbonation, flowers, and good hops.
Aftertaste is dry with fruits and hops. sayravai (3181), Helsinki, Finland Jul 28, 2006 (Draught) Opaque yellow-pale orange color with a small, tight and lacy head. Fruity aroma of oranges, not much else (no hops). Acidic, dryish flavor with some grassy hops and ashy hints. Light to medium-bodied, juice-like, but quite carbonated palate. It’s not anything like Czech or German - or even Belgian - pilseners. Maybe this is the birth of a new, bland "Finnish Pilsener" style...
