Oct 3, 2006 Dark brown colored, little beige head. Sweet caramelly aroma with some chocolate and roasted tones. Medium bodied. Flavor starts also with sweet caramelly tones, aftertaste has good dry touch with slight chocolate, mild alcohol and vinous tones. Good and rich flavored doppelbock.

Sep 3, 2006 Tap at the Helsinki restaurant. Not much aroma. This beer has a dark, thick foam, normally seen only in stouts. A lovely bitter with a berryish aftertaste. Very foamy. A great beer.

Opaque black. Mild roasted, hoppied and coffee aroma. Roasted, chocolaty, a bit sweet. More like strong dunkel or porter than a dobbelbock. Hide alcohol quite well.

Aug 20, 2004 (Tapped) Dark brown color with a small head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Sweet, sahti-like, malty, slightly smoked flavor with rye-pudding. Quite thick, medium to full-bodied, syrupy palate. Quite pleasant, full, sweet and malty brew.
