Jun 23, 2008 Medium beige head quickly subsides. Translucent dark brown-red body with carbonation. Mealy cardboard aroma with roasty caramelly notes. Dry dusty cardboard taste with roasty licorice notes. Quite good, but not great. (0.3l draft at Kamppi brewpub.)

May 27, 2008 Dark brown reddish colour. A flat head. Mild hopping. Same slight maltiness. A short aftertaste.Tasted from tap at Teerenpeli brewery in Lahti.

May 13, 2008 Swing top bottle from TBone, thanks! Brown color. Caramel and some licorice and laurel in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor with laurel and a hint of smoke. Hint of tartness. Not an unpleasant, tasty beer.

I tried this in a bottle too. very nice to have it from Alko, but it is at its best in Teerenpeli restaurant (maybe accompanied with a salami-chili Sulami -toast.)

roasted malts, maybe hint of coffee. sweet very very pleasant.

Cherry red, thin fizzy head. Served cold, malty lager aroma, slightly harsh and almost metallic, but also a bit creamy. Body was very full, rounded, and creamy. Malt is pretty well roasted. Subtly hopped. Good dark lager.
