Draught, 5.0% at EBF08. Weak smoke aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable creamy tan head. Good smoked flavour, smoky and nice. Some burnt wood, hint of ham.

[on tap at EBF 2008] Banana and clove aroma with some sweet malt and quite coriandery. Very dark yellow and foggy, with a nice, white ring. Refreshing banana flavour with plenty of sweet malt. Gentle with a coriander note. Clean and with a good sweet and dry balance. Lasting coriander flavour.

Tapped. Dark coloured, no head. Barlic/malty sweet nose. Fruity fresh flavour with strong smoky finish. Smokish longlasting aftertaste. Rich, but good carbonation.

Small white head quickly disappears. Amber body. Smoky apple and caramel aroma. Dry-sweet fruity smoky apple taste with caramelly charcoal notes. Mild, balanced, harmonic. Dry dusty grainy smoky aftertaste. Body is thin and delicate. Very nice! (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)

(Tapped) Very nice red/amber color, small head. A very pleasant, sweetish, smoked-ham aroma. Very strong smoked-malty flavor, although it does lack some complexity and fullness. Medium-bodied, oily (and smoky) palate. A nice surprise!
