mrdasilva (93), Helsinki, Finland Aug 18, 2008 No head, funny coppery color. Basic wit-aroma, spices, some bananas, pretty ok. The flavor is a bit too sharp and sour, needs more softness. This isn’t your average Joe Witbier, but at the end of the day it’s only "ok" as a whole. JK54B (291), Finland Aug 17, 2008 Updated: Aug 18, 2008A 0.5L bottle from local Alko shop. Slight alcohol in the nose. White fast dissappearing head. Hazy light brown/orange colour. Sour taste with hints of lemon. Also some hints of coriander and orange peel when getting warmer. Not a special one. Marsiblursi (1400), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 12, 2008 (Bottle) Pours hazy yellow. The aroma has clear tones of coriander and bitter oranges. The malt and hops stays in the background. The flavour is light malty sweet and light hoppy with tones of oranges and spicy coriander. The mouthfeel is dry and woody. Medium bodied. bager (2027), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 29, 2008 Bottled @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2008. Hazy and kinda yellow with notes of banana, spices, yeast and feels somewhat thin. esox (102), Oulu, Finland Jul 28, 2008 Bottled. Pours yellowish to orange and a bit hazy with a medium head. Aroma has wheat, banana and spicy sharpness. Quite lots of maltiness with fermented fruits. Flavor is medium medium sweet and wheaty controlled by peppery spiciness. Alcohol is present in the finish. Somehow reminds me of Finnish Sima. Medium bodied and a bit thin mouthfeel. Quite fizzy carbonated, which is OK for this refreshing beer.
