faroeviking (4396), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 22, 2008 Botella. Shared with others at Oelbaren, Copenhagen. Hazy deep golden, short head. Fruity bitter yeasty mild wheat aroma. Nice soft mouthfeel. Fruitish wheaty and yeasty herby flavour. Wheaty and yeasty mild coriander finish. Thanks Patrik. TEJA (143), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 8, 2008 One of Pyysings best beers.
This witbeer is the first one I’ve seen from Finland and they make it good. The carbonation could be litle higher as the head is litle to small for a good wit. The aroma is loaded with clowes and some bananas. There is afull bodiy with nice maltiness and a good bitterness for a wit. mrdasilva (107), Helsinki, Finland Aug 18, 2008 No head, funny coppery color. Basic wit-aroma, spices, some bananas, pretty ok. The flavor is a bit too sharp and sour, needs more softness. This isn’t your average Joe Witbier, but at the end of the day it’s only "ok" as a whole. JK54B (385), Finland Aug 17, 2008 Updated: Aug 18, 2008A 0.5L bottle from local Alko shop. Slight alcohol in the nose. White fast dissappearing head. Hazy light brown/orange colour. Sour taste with hints of lemon. Also some hints of coriander and orange peel when getting warmer. Not a special one. Marsiblursi (1425), Gö te la borrrrg, Sweden Aug 12, 2008 (Bottle) Pours hazy yellow. The aroma has clear tones of coriander and bitter oranges. The malt and hops stays in the background. The flavour is light malty sweet and light hoppy with tones of oranges and spicy coriander. The mouthfeel is dry and woody. Medium bodied.
