It’s a yellow-golden beer with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and light fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light fruit, hay and the finish is slightly dry. It’s soft and pleasant.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, fruity, sour malt, cabbage water, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, and some sour malt. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090712]

500 ml bottle. From Germany. Clear golden colour with white medium-size head. Grassy hoppy, malty and citrus aroma. Sweet and earthy, slightly hoppy flavour with honey, barnyard and alcohol notes. Not interesting.

Pours golden yellow with dense white head. Muted hop aroma. Very pleasant drinking experience on a hot summer day in Germany.

Bottle from Arden Wines. Bright fizzing gold with a high stable head. Typically pale fragrant German aroma pulling in blossomy hop, beeswax, hay and faint leather. Slippery palate exuding hay, bread and honey. Just another sweet balanced German lager, really. Slick, flat and floury, but quality.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 10/2009). Clear yellow color, small white head. Aroma has lemon, grassy hops, barnyard and metal. Crisp carbonation. Sweetish maltyness in the background. Otherwise some lemony hops, hints of barnyard and straw. A bit thinnish mouthfeel for Export beer. As other brews from this brewery - this is quite uninspiring.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Sweetish aroma with honeyish malt, bread, lemon, hint of toffee and hint of herbal hops. Honeyish and malty flavor with medium bitterness and hint of fruity hops. Initially soft rounded palate but some sharpness in the finish. Somewhat dull.
