Joeh (1892), Buckinghamshire, England Jan 28, 2008 Bottle. Pale gold. Grainy, alcoholic, dusty hops in the aroma. Sweet, softly flavoured, alcoholic finish, lack of hops. Drinkable/boring.
weaselkenievil (295), Cheshire, England Jul 18, 2008 Bottle, yellowy gold with thin white head. Malty, grassy and hoppy. Carnonated and burpy but certainly far from unpleasant. A little how I would expect from this style but no bad thing. Was in the mood for it and enjoyed it. Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jun 15, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow. Malty nose. Full-bodied and quite sweet. Lingering finish with hints of hops and banana. renffisch (406), london, Greater London, England May 26, 2008 bottle from nelson’s.straw yellow. white head. quite spicy, light refreshing beer. nothing to complain or rave about. ok heeles bier. true to it’s style. lovibond (112), New York, USA Mar 6, 2008 From draft, at the Braeustuberl: Aroma nicely balanced between malt and spicy, grassy hops. Flavor is likewise, with a faint sweetness and a hint of fruit. Brilliant deep gold appearance with tight white head which left some lacing. Dangerously drinkable. Perhaps the bottled version does not do as well? I found the draft very enjoyable. kappldav123 (948), Markkleeberg, Germany Feb 18, 2008 The bottle looks not so good, a little bit boring. The beer in the glass is okay. Spicy aroma. Flavor very good, very zippy, very spicy, very drinkable. Not sourish. A very good beer!
