Quack-Duck (1906), Bodensee, Germany Jul 8, 2007 bottle, bought at Tucker’s Maltings. Copper colour, large head. Very hoppy and fruity character with a malty background. Very nice indeed! Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 10, 2006 Bottle purchase from Tuckers Maltings online. Poured a nice clear copper colour with small white head. This was a jolly decent hoppy, fruity and malty beer quite full bodied tasty, very good. JonMoore (1551), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England Dec 21, 2005 Bottle. Copper coloured with a slim white head. Hops, malts and fruit in the aroma. Fruity, malty then quite hoppy bitter taste. Quite crisp, medium bodied and a fair amount of carbonation. It pleases me. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 25, 2005 Sweet caramel malt aroma with plenty of toasted notes and some fruity esters in the aroma. Clear, copper coloured body is topped by a low, off-white head that recedes to thick and lasting ring. Dried fruit, caramel malts and fairly strong finishing bitterness with some floral hop tones. Somewhat grainy aftertaste. Medium body with lively carbonation that prickles the tongue and cheeks. Bottle (BB 012007, Tucker’s Maltings). johndoughty (1663), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Aug 22, 2005 Quite bitter but with no real sharpness.
Lacks complexity and depth. Bland and rather dissapointing.
