Commercial Description:
This full bodied premium bitter is made from the world’s most highly regarded malting barley - Maris Otter. The quality of a classic barley variety, combined with traditional hand ploughed floor malting techniques, and craft brewing practices, produces this fine quality English Ale.

Bottle purchase from Tuckers Maltings online. Poured a nice clear copper colour with small white head. This was a jolly decent hoppy, fruity and malty beer quite full bodied tasty, very good.

Bottle. Copper coloured with a slim white head. Hops, malts and fruit in the aroma. Fruity, malty then quite hoppy bitter taste. Quite crisp, medium bodied and a fair amount of carbonation. It pleases me.

Sweet caramel malt aroma with plenty of toasted notes and some fruity esters in the aroma. Clear, copper coloured body is topped by a low, off-white head that recedes to thick and lasting ring. Dried fruit, caramel malts and fairly strong finishing bitterness with some floral hop tones. Somewhat grainy aftertaste. Medium body with lively carbonation that prickles the tongue and cheeks. Bottle (BB 012007, Tucker’s Maltings).

Quite bitter but with no real sharpness. Lacks complexity and depth. Bland and rather dissapointing.
