Lumpy (1527), Carrollton, Texas, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle. Body-dark honey with a thick rig of bubbles and an ultra thin film of bubbles. Nose-big macro husk, light spoiled/sweet, lightly lactic, a bit of old hops, overall an odd industrial type nose. Taste-low to medium sweetness, slight alcohol, caramel, tart apple, light cream, some unrefined wood, macro on the backend. Overall a very “macro” tasting beer, but in a clean pure way. An easy drinker would make a great food/session beer. travita (537), Lewisville, Texas, USA May 14, 2008 Copperish in color with a thinner head. Smell is a little hops, malt, dry, and earthy. Taste is malt, earthy. Maybe a little raddish like in there. Interesting bitternes. Swalden_28 (364), McKinney, Texas, USA May 13, 2008 Bottle, Thanks to Bu11zeye.
Poured a orangish color that was hazy and included sediment, and an off-white head. aroma has fruity notes with very slight bannana. Flavor much the same as aroma with a nice slight hoppy flavor. Medium body and medium carbonation......over all, not bad at all.... Beershine (1010), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 3, 2008 Tap at the new Father’s Office in Culver City. Red with small white head that lasts a long time. Has nutty malt aromas and flavors but finishes watery. Slight dryness too with some phenols and fruits. To quote Oakes who shared the pint: "A lot of everything, A lot of nothing." mjg74 (1697), La Mesa, California, USA Apr 22, 2008 Bottle from Bev4Less. Medium copper in color. Earthy fruity aroma.
