A fair bit of pukey malt in this one. Some card too. Really, it’s all over the place and having some fairly major issues. Fruity malt, some grassy hops underneath but it’s out of order. larryLSB (156), La Selva Beach, California, USA

Poured an amber/glod with huge white bubbly head. Nose was very yeasty and fruity, kind of like a Saison. Semi-sweet malty flavor, just a bit on the sour side. Very nice! illidurit (889), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Bottle courtesy SamGamgee. Pours a hazy, opaque, orange-copper color with a big billowing white head. Aromas of lemons and caramel, maybe orange zest too. Honeyed caramel malt flavor with a light lemony tinge on top. Some pepper and possibly clove too. Pours overly effervescent but after some time and swirling it becomes more drinkable. Lagunitasfan (439), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Great nose. Pepper and yeast. Grapes too? Bright clear amber in the glass with a big bubbly head and lace. Light and fuzzy in the mouth. Not a full mouth ale. Nose is better than flavor to me. Bitter and flat on the palate. Carbonation fluffs up in the mouth. WeeHeavySD (2980), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Cloudy gold with an average fizzy white head. Aroma of slightly spoiled fruit and classic dry Belgian Wit spiciness - a little stale. Tasted the same - sweet, dryly spicy, fruity but a little sour. Average body, solid carbonation, quite yeasty/spicy in the linger - ehhhhh. Even fresh, I doubt it was awesome. Ungstrup (15245), Frederiksberg, Denmark
