Commercial Description:
Pale and refreshingly tart.Telegraph Golden Wheat is a complex ale that embodies the best of traditional, unfiltered wheat beers. With aromas of fresh citrus and delicate spices, this beer should be savored with lighter fare such as seafood or grilled chicken. And skip the slice of lemon...this is a wheat ale with a flavor that stands up on its own!

Big foamy head & high level of carbonation. Rich golden and clear. Looks filtered no haze. Aroma is spicy with Belgian esters and citrus. Flavor is bready with a tart finish. Fair amount of bitterness which is augmented by its tartness. A very quenching and unique beer.

This was a good wheat ale.It had a large sudsy head which lasted a bit too long.Aroma was a pleasant grassy smelll, with a hint of honey. It had a nice medium amber color which radiated sun.Was a bit bitter, but had a good body and didn’t have that sour taste that poor wheat ales tend to have. This is one of the top 3 wheat ales I have tasted!Highly recommended.

Draught at the brewery. Clear dark gold with a big white head. Tart aroma with lots of fresh citrus. The flavor is refreshing and tart with white wine-like character. A little spice and hop bitterness, but subtle. Not as much character as their other beers, but quite nice and refreshing for a wheat ale. 3.3 rerate: Draught a the brewery again. Great spicy and sweeter fruity notes to balance the tart, lemon-like finish. Im liking this much more than the last time I was here. Maybe Im just more in tune with subtle, balanced beers, but this is a standout this time around.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Huge head response. Very clear and yellow. Wheaty and dry aroma. Very tingly and smooth. Easy drinking and enjoyable. A little harsh upfront but still remains excellent.

Bottle from Ledgers Liquors. Orange tinged gold color with a fizzy white head that went poof. Aromas of citrus and grain. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Whoa! The first flavor is barnyard. Excellent. There’s hop, grain and some florality, but this is really interesting stuff. More like a real saison than standard old American wheat ale. And at 5% this is sessionable funk!

On tap at Hamiltons. Yellow with a creamy white head. Sweet malty wheat bread aroma and taste. Decent.
