Jul 20, 2009 On tap at Beachwood BBQ. pours with a black body and a small, tan, creamy head that leaves very nice lace. Aroma of coffee grounds, berries, tar, anise/licorice and tobacco. Taste is nutty, spicy coffee and some alcohol for 6.5%. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel.

Oct 25, 2008 Growler from the brewery. Dark brown with a lasting froth of tan foam. Funky chocolate and grain aroma. Medium-full body with a nice creamy texture. Chocolate and oat flavor with an acidic tinge . There is some flavor in here that seems a bit out of pace, maybe the house yeast, which doesn’t seem to really jive with the roasted malt flavors. OK, but probably my least favorite Telegraph beer.
