Commercial Description:
Dark, rich, and smooth, Telegraph Oatmeal Stout is a hearty beer that unites the deep roasted flavors of a traditional British-style cream stout with a silky mouthfeel imparted by the addition of whole grain oats to the mash. Originally brewed to celebrate the wedding of two lovers of dark, creamy beers, our interpretation of this classic style is bigger and bolder than other examples. Pair our Oatmeal Stout with smoky barbecued meats, an intense Mexican mole sauce, or dark chocolate desserts and get ready to swoon...

Growler from the brewery. Dark brown with a lasting froth of tan foam. Funky chocolate and grain aroma. Medium-full body with a nice creamy texture. Chocolate and oat flavor with an acidic tinge . There is some flavor in here that seems a bit out of pace, maybe the house yeast, which doesn’t seem to really jive with the roasted malt flavors. OK, but probably my least favorite Telegraph beer.
