Commercial Description:
This intensely sour "wild ale" recalls the earliest rustic beers crafted centuries ago before brewers had an understanding of controlled fermentation. Brewed with the addition of lemon verbena, as well as lactobacillus and brettanomyces. Telegraph Reserve Wheat is an all-together different beast from modern beer. Not for the faint of heart, this special brew is available in extremely limited quantities.

Bottle shared by MaxxDaddy. Gorgeous pour, a very cloudy gold with a clean, white, poofy head. Very lemony, wheaty aroma, dead-on character but a bit absent of the needed punch. Extremely lively, carbonated body, a bit too much so, which gets in the way of the session qualities this brew should have.

From a 750 ml bottle this corked and caged brew poured a hazy lemonade color with a good sized white head and light lacing. Nose of lemons and wheat, with some grassy aromas. Mouthfeel is lively and a bit watery. The flavor is very sour, and quite different. An interesting brew.

Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of lacto, lemongrass, wheat, light brett, bread, and wood. Taste of wheat malts, lemon, some green apple, wild yeast, and a dry finish.

Bottle: Cloudy yellow with a consistent white head. Bright lemony aroma with mild lactic character and some sharp wheat notes. Light fluffy feel. Wheaty dry flavor with a slight lactic edge. Crisp with a subtle lemon character. An easy going Berliner Weisse.

Botted shared by BBB63- Thanks Mike! Pours a murky yellow with a white soapy head. Aroma of lemon, sweat, wheat, bready malts, grass, brett, and wood. Flavor is lemony tartness and wheat. Very crisp and refreshing. Really tasty. Great beer! Thanks Mike!

Bottle courtesy of Max I think, at Peter’s tasting. Pours a hazy almost milky pale straw yellow with a medium white head. Light mustard and dusty hay. Big carbonation, lemon, wheat. Crisp with a light tingly sourness. Really tasty, remarkably drinkable.

A lightly sour wit beer. Belgian yeast, coriander, and citrus. It is good as a wit beer, more sour than most, but this is not like any other Berlinner weisse have tasted. The yeast is seems wrong for that style. Clear yellow appearance.

Bottle thanks to cloudskipper. Pours a pale, almost clear, goldish yellow with super thick white head, lots of lacing, decent head retention. Aroma of wheat, yeast, funk, citrus, coriander, and a bit of tart fruits. Flavor matches well, but the tartness doesn’t perfectly lend to this brew. Either needs to be more sour or less. Light bodied, easy to drink, but is only a few tweaks for being great.
