decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Mar 12, 2009 Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Medium citrus and light malt on the nose. Semi sweet malt with a light bitter. Creamy medium bodied beer. Solid nice beer. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Mar 10, 2009 on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw gold color. Aroma is mild resin. Taste is resin hops, secondary medium malt. Soft carbonation. Nice but more of an IPA than an I2PA. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 18, 2009 Newest version is 8.5%. A fairly light aroma for a fresh hop beer. A bit more orange color than the Hop Ride. The flavor is great. Definitely a more bitter finish, with some caramel in the middle. Good stuff. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 12/01/2006

CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 15, 2007 On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a transparent bright golden bronze with a well-lacing, frothy white head. Sweet, lightly toasted caramel malty aroma has a good fresh hoppy bitterness. Starts sweet and candy-like with some mild fresh citrusy grapefruity green hops. Finishes sugary and bittersweet with a hint of drier, warming tartness. An average double IPA. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2007 copper color with lacy white head. there’s some carmel and almond with some grapefruit and orange. a little salty, oddly enough. (also at the strong ale fest) goldtwins (4078), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 7, 2007 10th Annual SD Strong Ale Fest: Poured a lightly hazzed copper color with a thin off-white head. The aroma had a moderate amount of grapefruity hops. not too much and not too little. Caramel malt takes up the slack. Malty sweet flavor at the start. This gives way to a grapefruity middle. Dry and mildly bitter finish.
