Tenaya Creek Nut Brown Ale

pours rather bronze-y with a barely off white head and lots of drippy lacing. the nose is caramel, coffee, roasted nuts, toast and malt. coffee really stands out in the flavor... it mixes with toasty grain/malt, nuts and a little bitterness on the finish. alcohol peeks its head out just enough to dry everything out. medium bodied and quite refreshing. 6/3/6/3/14/3.2

On tap at Boulder Creek Golf Course. What a good beer. great color,creamy head, and lots of flavor. look forward to more soon.

Deep amber with creamy tan head and lace. Malty roasty nose. Sour nuttiness, roasted malt and some bitter. Aggressive carbonation and a tad thin. Another decent drinker.

Draft..Nice brown color throughout..small white head.. really a nice brown..Flavour of caramel,honey,malt nice ending

Draught. Medium high creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear brown body. Weak caramel honey aroma. Bitter caramel honeay roasted malt flavor with a high carbonation and a short aftertaste.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a mostly clear dark amber-brown color with a thin and creamy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Small strings of lace on the glass. The aroma is nutty and malty with a hint of hops. Medium, smooth body with sweet malt, nut and mild chocolate flavors. Hints of hops show up as well. The finish is sweet with a lingering malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Consumed on draft at brewery, 12/30/07. Russet, clear. Virtually no head or lacing. Aroma is nil. Nutty, grainy flavor that fades fast. No astringency, no bitterness. A better Newcastle, but simple and unremarkable.

on tap-pours a dissipating off white head and mahogany color. Aroma is mild medium malt-nutty. Taste is medium malt-nutty/chocolate, slightly bitter hops-citrus/earthy. OK carbonation.
