Oct 7, 2004 Sample at brewpub, Good nose, malty. Carmel, nutty, woody. Rootbeer. Clean orangy brown color. Sweet flavors. Malty. Same as aroma, maybe a little burnt thing too. Thin body, creamy mouthfeel. Tasty enough, nothing outstanding, classic nut brown.

Jul 1, 2004 Hazy red in color. No head or lacing. More of an american brown in that it has some hoppiness to it at first sip that goes into a slightly malty then watery finish.

Dec 14, 2003 Nice deep brown color. Bit weak on the nose and somewhat watery on the first few sips. Palate quickly drys a up nicely and reveals its nutty characteristics.

Feb 9, 2003 Dark red color with big staying head that gives in an airy aroma. Distinct caramel, smoked wood flavors. Quite good.
