| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a mostly clear dark amber-brown color with a thin and creamy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Small strings of lace on the glass. The aroma is nutty and malty with a hint of hops. Medium, smooth body with sweet malt, nut and mild chocolate flavors. Hints of hops show up as well. The finish is sweet with a lingering malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
