ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 19, 2006 On tap @ Tenaya Creek poured a clear light amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, pine and grapefruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and dry. Flavors of light carmel, pine, earthiness and grapefruit rind with a dry lingering bitter finish. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Apr 12, 2004 on tap at brewpub: im pulling this one from my memory banks because the brewery isnt brewing this one regularly anymore has been replaced by the ring tail IPA. as all their beers a bit thin for me. built for the masses or the macro crowd whos feeling a bit risky. seemed to me to be better when the brewpub opened and got little thinner as time has marched on. the IPA and this one are pretty identical. not a lot of hops but enough to be the only character to speak of and after that crisp and clean and easy to drink. pretty snappy. not that i dont like it but to fit the class we need a bit more robust flavor...all across the board. MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 14, 2003 Nice orangish-yellow color. Bit weak on the nose, but nice hoppy palate. Decent brew. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA Nov 12, 2002 Not bad for a beer....but it definitely lacked character to make it a legit pale. Rather watery with hints of hop flavor throughout. ಠַಠ (1375), San Francisco, California, USA Nov 10, 2002 This is a pale ale? Not nearly enough hoppiness. Rather watery and flavorless but somehow it did have a nice texture.
