hellbilly (1496), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jul 6, 2009 clear pale straw yellow color with a thin white head and some spotty lacing.
solvent-y alcohol aroma...ick, followed by grainy sweetness and fruit.
the palate is WAY too sweet... flavors of strawberries, lemon and spicy grain.
medium bodied leaning on syrupy which keeps it from being refreshing or enjoyable. 3/3/4/2/8/2.0 decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Mar 12, 2009 Golden pour with creamy white head and lace. Corn, light malt, and a hint of hops. Light corn, very light malt, and a light bitter. Pretty foamy but not thin. A beer close to being real good. War4soccer (115), , Nevada, USA Mar 7, 2009 draft.. normal american pilsner..clear color of golden throughout..hops.malt.yeast..just an average beer Dogbrick (2816), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 20, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear pale golden color with a thin and fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Light hops aroma with faint malt and yeast in the background. Light-bodied with peppery hops, malt and yeast flavors. The finish is mildly bitter with hops and spice aftertaste. Average overall. Charlzm (247), Los Angeles, California, USA Jan 1, 2008 Consumed on draft at brewery, 12/30/07. Incredibly clear, pale golden beer with some active carbonation and a head that went down to a thin skin fairly quickly. Aroma - rubbery, solvent. Uh-oh. Luckily, flavor is corn and a hint of malt graininess. Mild astringency, even milder bitterness. Nothing special. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jan 1, 2008 on tap-pours a dissipating white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is crisp light fruit. Taste is crisp light fruit/grassy hops, grain. Light body but not thin. Good effervescence. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Dec 31, 2007 12-1-07 tap
Very light aroma with only hints of yeast and dough. Clearish yellow in color. Bland flavor - nothing really there. Overly thin. Slight medicinal finish. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Dec 6, 2007 Nice simple apple juice like fruity yeasty malt aroma. Clear medium gold color. Nice crispness, yet a bit thin. Lightly hopped, but I thought this was actually a pretty decent pilsner and was one of the better beers at Tenaya Creek.
