(Great American Beer Festival 2004) Fairly weak pils. More in the style of a continental lager. No malt hop to be found.

Sample at brewpub. Ok nose, litely lemon and sourdough. Clean pale yellow color. Sweet and bitter. Citrus, lemon lime, toasted malts, hint of a clove or corriander. Lite body, kinda creamy, little bite on finish. Tasty enough, very drinkable. Though it was my first brew of the day and I had been hiking for a few hours so almost anything would of been good.

on tap at brewpub: had to try this one because it won gold at the GABF. color was clear yellow with white head. not much aroma, maybe some slight malt. in the mouth bitter saaz hops and some hints of malt. pretty thin also. reminds me of a good european pilsner but watered down. somebody likes it, gold at GABF!!!

Very clean crisp beer. Light golden color with a simple nose. Citrus and on the palate with a hint of champagne. Nice sweet finish.

It think they called it a "European Pilsener", that explains the gold at the GABF.....taste was reminiscent of water.

Very watery, weak, and almost flavorless except for a slight woody taste. Supposedly this won gold at the GABF one year...I’ve never given too much credit to GABF wins, but this had to be either a different beer or a bad keg.

Light golden color. Sweet malty nose. Smooth light malt flavors with hint of cereal finish. Good brew pub pilsner.
